The Capacity Injection Project -CIP would like to thank both the FGS & World Bank teams who worked jointly & tirelessly on the Public Service Pension & Gratuity Policy as well as the Pension Law which were both initially approved by the FGS cabinet on Feb 11th and Feb 26th 2021 respectively. However, they were resubmitted to the current Cabinet on Thursday May 8th, 2023 for reading and to be endorsed on the 11th May, 2023.
Together these form the basis of pension provisions for the civil servants of the Federal Government of Somalia.
